Turmeric, Ginger and Lemongrass Tonic - Detox, Anti-Inflammatory, Enhances Immunity, and Soothes Digestion

Ingredients
4 cups filtered water
4-5 inches (5-6 tablespoons) fresh organic turmeric root, sliced
4-5 inches fresh organic ginger root, sliced
2 cups lemongrass stalks and leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper
2-3 tablespoons organic raw honey
Preparation
Step 1
In a tea pot add water, bring to a boil over medium heat
Add lemongrass, reduce heat to low, simmer 5-10 minutes
Turn off the heat, cover tea pot with the lid, reserve for 10 minutes
Step 2
Strain the tea, place it in a blender
Add turmeric, ginger, black pepper, pulse 1- 2 minutes
Strain the mixture
Place tonic in a mason jar, add honey, refrigerate
Drink 2-3 times a day 1/2 cup
Dilute if it is too strong for you, and add fresh lemon juice and ice if wanted
Keep a week refrigerated
